Yoga TTC in Dharamsala
Yoga TTC in Rishikesh

Hatha yoga world

We at Hatha Yoga World have been imparting Yoga training, workshop and residential retreats since 2003. Our centres are at two places in India, Rishikesh & Dharamshala. More than being a commercial venture, ours is a social endeavour which combines philosophy, culture, tradition, charity, and world peace. We strive to spread the knowledge of Yoga to all parts of the world so that we may all live in harmony with ourselves and with nature. Taking inspiration from the ancient Indian sciences and texts, we have developed a fine synthesis of Yoga with a modern outlook, which helps students make valuable adjustments to their current lifestyle and also contribute positively to the society at large.

How can I become a Hatha Yoga teacher?

Students have to undergo a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course that is certified by Yoga Alliance, USA. When they graduate as teachers, they are confident in giving instructions, performing demonstrations, and making hands-on adjustments to body postures (asanas). The teaching program focuses on providing students with opportunities to develop their skills in all aspects of Hathayoga. Students also attend lectures about Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy and Physiology so that they can fully understand the correlation between asanas and the musculoskeletal structure of the human body.

Is there a more advanced teacher training program?

Yes we also offer a 300-hour course that takes a deeper dive at asanas and introduces students to other forms of meditation. Our yoga practice is blended with other Vedic sciences to provide wholesome knowledge and enlightenment to the students. The program empowers students who wish to become experts and open their own Yoga studio or remedy centre.

Where is the Hatha Yoga Teacher training course conducted

The course is conducted at Buddha Hall that is located at Rishikesh and Dharamsala, India.

Situated on the peaceful banks of the holy Ganga River, Rishikesh is the world’s yoga capital. Since centuries, enlightened sages have imparted the knowledge of Yoga to countless followers here. Our teacher training is conducted at “Buddha Hall” which is situated against a backdrop of Shivalik Hills covered with green velvety vegetation. The area is aptly named Tapovan, meaning “Forest for Meditation”.

The snow clad Himalayas form a magnificent backdrop to the hill resort of Dharamsala. With dense pine and deodar forests, numerous streams, cool healthy air, attractive surroundings and the nearby snowline, Dharamsala has everything for a perfect retreat. His Holiness the Dalai Lama resides here.

Who are the teachers who conduct the courses

We have well experienced, certified, accomplished teachers who conduct these courses each year. Their expertise and knowledge is vast and they have helped thousands of students in gaining inner enlightenment, peace, and wellness through scientifically structured programs. Teachers are adept in multiple languages, understand world cultures, and are extremely sensitive to each student’s wants and objectives. They not only impart yogic teachings but also take the students through a cultural journey. Explaining even the smallest aspects of Indian culture and traditions, they make the students stay exciting, rewarding and enriching.

Our teachers frequently travel outside India to conduct classes across several countries.

We also offer residential training courses, healing programs and wellness retreats under the guidance of Buddha Hall, our knowledge partner.
